Welcome! I am SO excited to finally share this blog with you!
I may be a country girl and for a good bit of the year you can find me dressed in camo, but I would be lying if I said that I didn’t LOVE clothes and finding that perfect outfit that compliments my style. Just ask Waylen ;)
I often get asked by brides for recommendations on what they should wear for their engagement session and while I am always MORE than happy to offer my thoughts, one of the most important things is to be true to who you are! But having your photos taken is also a great excuse to be a little extra! ;)
I highly recommend getting your hair and make up done - Your engagement photos are a great reason to schedule your hair and make up trials and it will make you feel like a million bucks! I promise no one has ever regretted doing so!
But I also know how difficult it can be to find that perfect outfit, so I am over the moon excited to share 5 of my favorite boutiques that I know you will be able to find that perfect piece that is true to your style (and that I know will photograph beautifully)!
Piper & Scoot - One of my go to places for finding the cutest and most comfortable dresses, jumpsuits & tops! Make sure to follow them on Instagram to see try-ons for their new arrivals!
Roolee - Another favorite go to for finding the perfect outfit! I love how they also incorporate other styling details so you can get an idea of what shoes/accessories would work with an outfit!
One Loved Babe - One Loved Babe is always adding new options to their shop and one of the main reasons I love it, is for how affordable it is!
Lulu’s - Lulu’s pretty much has it all! Looking for a specific color? They’ve got it! Wanting a certain style? They are bound to have it! Lulu’s is also a great place to look for bridesmaids dresses too!
Big Bratt Boutique - Ok y’all! This one is a personal FAV of mine and where I end up getting a majority of my clothes! It’s a bit more western but with a fun flare! Their pieces are perfect for layering and I love how they incorporate patterns, textures, and accessories together!
BONUS: Check out local boutiques around you or in cities you visit! Chances are there is one close by that has some beautiful and unique pieces that not a lot of people have!
I hope these recommendations can be helpful to you! When in doubt, always reach out to your photographer for their professional opinion! :)
Can’t wait to see what y’all have picked out!
